Malayalam film, Manjummel Boys released as a small budgeted film hit the jackpot. The film with no huge cast secured to achieve a unanimous positive talk and went on to gross more than 200 crores worldwide. It also became the Industry hit of Mollywood officially grossing 240 crores worldwide. Now, with its premiere on the OTT, it received a thunderous response once again.
Many films that work well in the theatres receive an overrated tag after their OTT premiere. Premalu, a recently released Malayalam film, had the same response after its OTT release. It is about a gang of friends who get in trouble when one of their friends falls into the valley accidentally. The rest of the story is about how each one tries to rescue their friend. The film became a hit in both Tamil and Telugu languages as well.
