Recently, a new trend has been started by the Tollywood film units. That is having the paid premiers for the newly released films before a day of the release. The paid premiers are working for small films if the content is good as the word of mouth comes positive from those premiers the movies are opening with good numbers at the box office.
Now this week’s new releases like Kartikeya Gummadi Konda’s Bedurulanka 2012 and Boys Hostel, a Kannada dubbed film both films units have planned the paid premiers. Bedurulanka 2012 movie will have paid premiers on August 24th in the cities of Andhra Pradesh like Guntur, Vizag and Kakinada. Now let’s see whether this strategy works or not for the films or not.
“Bedurulanka 2012” film has been produced under Laukya Entertainments banner by producer Ravindra Banerjee (Benny) Muppaneni, who also happens to be the producer of the National award-winning films “Colour Photo” and ‘Tellavarithe Guruvaram”.
“RX 100” fame Kartikeya Gummakonda and “DJ Tillu” fame Neha Shetty have played the lead roles. Mr. Clax is making his debut as a director for this film. This movie is presented by Yuvraj and getting released this Friday.
