Balakrishna is one of the biggest action stars of tollywood. His movies have high dose of violence and fights are exclusively choreographed for him. His action sequences under Boyapati direction has separate fans.
Continuing the same trend, Veera Simha Reddy which is based in Rayalaseema faction has 12 action sequences (small and large). Gopichand Malineni is a mass director with special emphasis on songs and fights. His last movie with Raviteja, Krack, had excellent action sequences. Hence, combination of Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni is on expected lines regarding action dose.
However, too much of masala spoils the dish. There were few instances where Balayya movies had overdose of violence, leading to flops. A section of audiences like women and children doesn’t like much violence, for them, too many fights aren’t palatable.
The movie has a big star cast like Sruthi Hassan, sandalwood star Duniya Vijay, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar, Honey Rose, Lal etc. The movie is lacing up for sankranthi release, tentative date is 12th January 2023.
It is already known that Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna are locking horns for 2023 Sankranthi race. These veteran actors have competed many times during Sankranthi season. Fans and movie lovers are eagerly waiting to see this contest between their favorite heroes.
Distributors are eager to buy both these movies and test their luck despite the heavy competition for theaters allocation because it is Sankranthi Season. Hence, the prices are soaring much above than the average box office collections of both the heroes.
The festival advantage might help the buyers recover their investments. Hope both movies become blockbusters and make the distributors and exhibitors happy since they are seeing a dull phase since Dussehra.
