Theatre owners are very serious and not happy with Special shows celebrations

After Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri and Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Gharana Mogudu and Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa were screened in a grand manner for the star’s birthdays. There are also plans of re-releasing Prabhas’ Billa and Chatrapati. However, fans and show organizers are now facing a small issue from theatre owners.

Pokiri and Jalsa special shows got a huge response and the fans are celebrated like never before. Few theatre owners failed to control the audience and the fans in euphoria did a lot of damage. These losses ran into lakhs for many theatres. In many places, chairs and screens were also damaged much to theatre management’s disarray.

In many theatres the entry gates and glasses were broken for Pokiri and the same has been repeated with Jalsa special shows now. Theatre owners are not happy to screen special shows now. Because of this continuous damage, they are planning to take a strong decision.

So now for any special shows, the exhibitors are demanding huge advances and the amount will be returned after the show if there is no damage. The exhibitors don’t want to take any risks now.

This trend of screening fan favourites is indeed a great one and is surely giving an experience that many fans who missed watching these films during their initial screenings. However, fans also need to enjoy in a way that causes no loss to property.
