The tough phase for Vijay Deverakonda continues. It is widely known that the young actor Vijay Deverakonda is one of the few heroes who have made it big in the short span of his career. He rose to fame with good, successful films like Pelli Choopulu and got a massive craze in the youth audiences with Arjun Reddy. However, soon, his stardom got a bit shaken as the tough phase for Vijay Deverakonda continued.
Vijay Devarakonda’s last hit was Taxiwala, released 5 years back. It is widely known that he had put a lot of hope in films like Dear Comrade, Liger, and Kushi, but none worked at the box office. Liger was not only a box office failure but also received many trolls. Vijay’s latest film, Kushi, was at least able to gather some decent collections at the box office.
Vijay Deverakonda was supposed to do a film with Gowtham Tinnanuri after Kushi, but as it was a big-budget film and required a long time to complete, he delayed its filming. He desperately wanted to deliver a blockbuster as soon as possible, and he felt Parsuram’s combo would work big at the box office during Sankranthi.
Vijay Devarakonda wanted to release his next film, Family Star, on Sankranthi to post big numbers and score a big success. Still, for many reasons, the movie is not coming for Sankranthi and will likely be out in the summer. Vijay Devarakonda needs to wait for a few more months to deliver success, and the tough phase for Vijay Deverakonda continues.
Due to delays in visa clearances for an overseas shoot, the progress of the Family Star film was stalled. Thus, the production team is contemplating releasing it by the end of March.
Parasuram directs Family Star and features Mrunal Thakur alongside Vijay Deverakonda. The project is backed by Dil Raju, with music composed by Gopi Sundar.
