Ram Charan makes Chiranjeevi proud. A pic from his global blockbuster, RRR, was featured at the 54th edition of the International Film Festival. He entered the industry as Megastar Chiranjeevi’s successor, Ram Charan, and became a true heir to his father’s stardom. Today, Ram Charan makes Chiranjeevi proud as he fulfills his father’s wish.

Ram Charan has gained national and international fame with his performance in RRR. Recently, he made his father’s 16-year-old dream come true. In 2007, Chiranjeevi became emotional while speaking on stage at the Vajrotsavsam function (75-year celebration of the Telugu film industry). “When I went to the Goa Film Festival, I didn’t see photos of Telugu actors like SVR, NTR, and ANR there, and Telugu artists were not getting due respect,” said Chiranjeevi.

After many years, a photo of the Telugu actor appeared at the Goa film festival. At the 54th International Film Festival of India this year, a photo of Ram Charan in the getup of Alluri Sitarama Raju from RRR appeared. The videos and pictures of the same have gone viral online. A photo of Anushka Shetty and Ram Charan was also seen at the film festival’s entrance.

Mega fans happily share Charan’s photo, and comments are made that he is the son who made his father’s dream come true. Chiranjeevi received the ‘Indian Film Personality of the Year’ award last year at the 53rd Film Festival. It remains to be seen if Telugu actors will receive the award at this year’s film festival.
