People Media Factory (PMF) and IVY Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. had an agreement for The Raja Saab, with IVY to invest ₹225 Cr. IVY paid ₹218 Cr but later sought to cancel the deal because Raja Saab’s release is continuously being delayed, which PMF refused.

Reportedly, PMF invested beyond IVY’s amount and continued the project, leading to both sides sending legal notices. In an unexpected development, an investment of 218 crore drags Prabhas’s The Raja Saab into a court clash.
The case is still pending in the Delhi High Court. In the last hearing, PMF offered to repay IVY’s investment with interest before release in return for IVY giving up all rights to the film. The court asked IVY to submit a counterproposal and urged both parties to work towards a resolution.
