It is very well known to everyone that Prabhas’s Adipurush which was released amidst massive hype and craze had faced a big drop in its collections after the 1st weekend on weekdays and everyone expected the film might witness a jump on the 2nd weekend with family audiences liking it and no notable films were released this week. But the film maintained the same levels and there was no jump in collections for the weekend.
Looking at the collections of Adipurush in the second weekend, the buyers are in a huge disappointment as they expected some good numbers on the weekend which could have covered their losses.
Directed by Om Raut, ‘Adipurush’ stars Prabhas as Lord Ram/Raghav, Kriti Sanon as Janaki/Sita, and Saif Ali Khan as Raavan/Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshman/Seshu and Deva Dutta Nage as Lord Hanuman/Bajrang. Ajay – Atul, and Sachet Parampara are the music directors for this movie.
Adipurush is produced on a massive scale by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. People Media Factory is bringing the movie to the Telugu audience. Theatrical rights of the Telugu version are valued at 190 CRS and overall, the combined break even mark for all versions of the film is 320 CRS. The film needed a good run at least until the 2nd weekend to be in the safe zone, but the film succumbed to the negative talk, and now it has almost ended its run at the box office.
