Naga Chaitanya- Sai Pallavi starrer Thandel had an extraordinary weekend at the Box office with Rs 55 Cr gross collection and around 31 Cr share. The film did a decent job on 1st Monday. The noon shows started well on Monday and saw a good jump for matinees whereas evening and night shows did not make much jump.
After seeing the noon shows collections, the film was expected to collect more than 8 Cr gross worldwide on Monday. However, the film could collect around Rs 6 Cr due to ordinary evening and night shows. drop in evening and night, Rs 6 crore on Monday is a decent hold and good news for the makers.
For 4 days, the movie has collected around 61 Cr gross and close to 34 Cr share. The film should maintain the same momentum on these weekdays and needs to take a jump over the weekend.
