Varisu is the new movie of Thalapathy Vijay. It’s first song Ranjithame has already become a hit, rocking the online music platforms. Thaman has scored music for this movie. Thaman is often criticized for copying songs and being monotonous.

But every so often the trolls get overboard and nitpick that mere similarity is copying. This is definitely bad since every music director has a specific style and that doesn’t mean copying. Repetition is of course boring, but making fun of him as copy is too much. Similar remarks came for Varisu first single.

Netizens are comparing Ranjithame song to Naa BC Center lu song from Telugu movie Winner. It is agreeable that the beats are same, but there’s no point in calling it as copy because both songs are scored by Thaman.

Especially the stylish soundtrack scored by Anirudh for Master is highly regarded from the audience. Moreover, Halamathi Habibo song from Beast was a sensation for which Anirudh was the composer and singer also.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu has S Thaman composing the music. This is the maiden collaboration of Vijay and Thaman.

Written by Vamshi, Hari and Ashishor Solomon, Varisu is backed by Dil Raju and Shirish under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
