Thalapathy Vijay is one of the biggest Superstars in the Southern film industry. The actor is currently in the process of filming his next film, Leo, with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Even before this project was completed, news of his upcoming film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68, was in continuous news in the recent days. Earlier, Telugu director Gopichand Malineni and Atlee were considered for Vijay’s next film. However, it looks like Venkat Prabhu has got the chance to direct Vijay.
It is very well known to everyone that director Venkat Prabhu has scored a disaster with his latest film Custody, but it is said that he has impressed Thalapathy Vijay with an impressive story line and the movie is almost said to be finalized and it will be produced by AGS entertainments. Vijay will likely start this film after his prestigious project with Lokesh Kanagaraj, LEO.
Earlier, Gopichand Malineni and Atlee were the two people being considered for Vijay’s 68th film. But Venkat Prabhu made a sudden new entry into the list. According to the reports, the Custody director narrated an idea which Vijay really liked.
Vijay is currently working on Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj which is rumored to be a part of Lokesh’s LCU aka Lokesh Cinematic Universe, of which Karthi’s Kaithi and Kamal Haasan’s Vikram are also a part. Besides Vijay and Trisha, Leo has a list of the big star cast among which Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, Gautham Menon, Mathew Thomass, Mansoor Ali Khan and Sandy. Bollywood Actor Sanjay Dutt will also make his Tamil debut with this movie. Leo will hit screens on October 19th
