Slowly and steadily, Telugu Heroes have stopped interacting with the press for interviews and Press Q&A sessions. A number of heroes have made a conscious decision to keep away from all such activities and speak only during pre-release events. This is primarily happening due to continuous hounding by the media through their unnecessary and controversial questions.
Heroes lashing out at these questions is creating negative publicity which they want to avoid. The media is also focussing on some negative reports and focussing on questions controversies, clashes between directors and producers, and budget-related questions. On many occasions, the media is directly quoting negative comments about songs, teasers, and trailers.
Because of this, many heroes feel that these promotional interviews are turning out to be like interrogations and avoiding such events. We saw a number of releases in the last couple of months where the Heroes chose not to interact. Many Telugu heroes are doing the interviews which are hosted by the production team, not the press interviews. Apart from this, they are also attending TV shows but totally avoiding interviews and press meets.
