Rules are not meant to be followed, but not by the powerful people. Rules are in fact set by them for their benefit, even at the expense of small players. One such rule was set by Dil Raju during Sankranthi 2019. He said that Telugu movies will get priority in festive seasons. This was in response to the criticism by Petta movie’s Telugu producer who claimed that small producers buying dub films aren’t getting good theaters.

Now, When Dil Raju is the producer for a dub film in Sankranthi race, he is changing the rules for his favor. He is allocating good quality and quantity of theaters to Varisu starring Vijay. This made Producer Council of Telugu film industry remind Dil Raju about his 2019 comments.

However, Tamil Producers Council issued a press release that any attempts to restrict Tamil dub movies in Telugu states will have bad consequences for Telugu movies in Tamil Nadu.

Allu Aravind, one of the senior most giants among Telugu producers, has responded saying that there are no language barriers anymore after Bahubali. He said that it was impractical to restrict movies in an era where pan-Indian movies are celebrated.

Netizens are watching this foul play and mincing of words of these star producers. Hence, rules are meant to be followed by small players and rules are to be broken by big players.

These kinds of tricks and twisting the statements is not new in the industry, as said above they can make the rules, and they can break them too for their convenience.

Meanwhile, Allu Aravind is releasing Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya as Thodelu in Telugu states. Allu Aravind released Kannada sensational film Kantara across the Telugu states and the film was declared as a blockbuster. He expressed his confidence on the success of Thodelu. Kriti Sanon is the leading lady and the Telugu media interaction of the film took place yesterday evening.
