Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal movie targeted majorly Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. In Hindi and Telugu it did great numbers and the film has constantly seen two types of responses.
While one section of people called it as cult film, the other section of people called it as overhyped film and a cringe film. In this process, The Telugu audience strongly gave counter to the backlash of Tamil audience against Animal Movie.
Tamil cinema fans have unanimously called Animal is a bad and cringe film at the time of theatrical release time and the movie has miserably failed to put numbers in the Tamil version. Now even after OTT release, the movie is receiving same kind of response from Tamil audiences, critics, and even the industry people. They are calling Animal as overrated and cringeworthy film.
However, the Telugu cinema fans countered them by saying that Vijay’s Leo is a cringe film and not Animal. By comparing the flashback of the Tollywood audiences are saying that part is real cringe whereas Animal is a new age content. They have also trolled Ponniyin Selvan while defending Animal, the film.
Besides this Controversy, the movie is trending at number one position on Netflix, and it is widely known that the film is a massive blockbuster in Telugu and Hindi and collected 900Cr Gross worldwide. The sequel Animal Park will start in next year-end after Vanga’s Spirit with Prabhas.
