Director Teja is one of Tollywood’s most prominent filmmakers, having directed several blockbusters in the early 2000s. There was a time when he continuously delivered big hits at the beginning of his career but this streak couldn’t last long and later delivered continuous failures. He made a good comeback with Nene Raju Nene Mantri starring Rana and Kajal Agarwal but after that again delivered flops.
A new film titled Rakshasa Raja was announced with a combination of Rana and Teja. Unfortunately, this project got shelved due to unknown reasons. Now Teja is all set to launch his son Amitov as the hero. The script and pre-production works are in progress.
We need to see how Teja plans this project which is professionally as well as personally prestigious for him. He recently launched Abhiram Daggupati with Ahimsa which failed miserably at the Box office. So there’s more pressure this time as it’s his own son’s launch. The official announcement about the project is expected soon with the film’s shoot likely to start this year-end
