Maharashtra Cyber has summoned Tamannaah for questioning related to the unauthorized streaming of the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) on the Fairplay App. This incident reportedly resulted in substantial financial losses for Viacom, which owns the official broadcasting rights for the IPL. The actress is required to present herself to the authorities on April 29.
Viacom, the official broadcaster of IPL matches complained with the cyber cell that the illegal streaming caused them severe losses. Reportedly, Sanjay Dutt was also summoned in connection with the case earlier this week. However, the actor has requested the actor for another date owing to his busy film schedule.
