At Veera Simha Reddy success meet, Balayya was heard saying, “My father Sr NTR had some contemporaries, aa Ranga Rao (referring to SV Ranga Rao), Akkineni, Thokkineni, and some others,” speaking about his father NT Rama Rao’s contemporaries.
The distasteful remarks by Balakrishna didn’t pass smoothly with the fans of Akkineni clan and further other heroes fans too criticized the derogatory remarks of Balakrishna about ANR. Also, his comments about SV Rangarao became controversial as some caste organizations demanded an apology from Balakrishna.
The family members and grandsons of late SV Ranga Rao came supporting Balakrishna, and they said that they have a very good relationship with Balakrishna. They always will be a family. What Balakrishna spoke about was very general about the conversation he had with his co-star.
SV Rangarao’s grandsons mentioned that their family members don’t see any dispute in this regard. They also requested not to drag this matter further in the media. They urged all fans and people not to disturb the relationship between them, their family members, Nandamuri Dynasty and Nandamuri descendants by bringing controversy, in a press note.
