Tamil star hero Surya’s Surya S/o of Krishnan was also announced to join the list, but the latest update says the date of re-release of the film has been postponed.
A few days ago, it was announced that that Suriya’s old film Surya S/o Krishnan (Vaaranam Aayiram in Tamil) is up for re-release. The movie was scheduled to be released again in theaters on July 21, 2023, and in the USA on July 19, 2023. However, with multiple films getting released in the next week, there will be a problem of theaters shortage. So, because of this reason, buyers have postponed the re-release to 4th august.
Directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon, the romantic drama features Sameera Reddy, Simran, and Divya Spandana as the female leads. Music director Harris Jayaraj gave a Chart buster album for the film, which is on the playlists of the fans even today.
Meanwhile, Suriya is currently busy with the shoot of his next pan-Indian movie, Kanguva. Directed by Siruthai Siva, the multilingual film features Disha Patani as the female lead and being made on a massive scale.
