The 2022 Oscars Nominations took place today live on Youtube and left a bitter taste in the mouth of many Indians. Ahead of the Oscars nominations, this tweet from popular Hollywood critic Jackqueline Coley excited fans and gave a ray of hope regarding the nomination of Jai Bhim.
But to the disappointment of many, Jai Bhim has not been nominated for the Best Picture category. People were hoping that if not Best Picture, it at least deserved a nomination in the Best International Film category but Jai Bhim has been snubbed on that respect as well.
Jai Bhim would have been the first South Indian film and only the 4th Indian film to be nominated at the Oscars. People are furious at the Oscars for not recognizing a great movie from India.
