Suriya’s Etharkkum Thunindhavam has been waiting for a release in theatres for a long time now. The film was originally scheduled to release on February 4th but due to the rise in COVID-19 cases in the country, the film was postponed.
The makers have now come forward with a new release date of March 10th, 2022. The film will release with no major competition from any film and will have a smooth release. This is Suriya’s comeback into the theatre space after 3 years.
He has been scoring blockbusters on OTT for the last 2 years, but he will be craving for a theatrical release. It will also be interesting to see whether the OTT audiences will translate into theatre audiences. Etharkkum Thunindhavam will showcase Suriya as the savior once again, who fights against social injustice.
The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sathyaraj, and Jayaprakash among others. Pandiraj is the director of the movie and Kalanithi Maran has produced the film. D Imman is the music director of the film.
