The re-release trend in the Telugu Film Industry is looking to extend further to some other yesteryear blockbusters. After the stupendous success of Pokiri, Okkadu, Jalsa, and Kushi, and NTR’s action entertainer Simhadri, Super Star Krishna’s Mosagallaku Mosagadu is gearing up for a re-release on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Krishna Garu on May 31st.
There is no need to specially mention the experiments done by Superstar Krishna in his career. Mosagallaku Mosagadu, India’s first cowboy film, had introduced many technical nuances to the Telugu Cinema. This movie, which was released 52 years ago, created a sensation at the box office. It was ambitiously produced by producer Ghattamaneni Adi Seshagiri Rao under the banner of Padmalaya Studios Private Limited, and became a cult classic.
Today, the distributor’s list of Mosagallaku Mosagadu re-release has been revealed. In Nizam, the movie will be released by SVC/Asian Films, while Krishna region by Annapurna Cinemas. Vintage Creations is releasing the movie in the East and in Vizag the movie will be released by SVC. Aaditya Films in the West, Prince Films in Nellore, Padmakar Cinemas in Guntur, Shilpakala Entertainments in Ceded, Prathyangira Cinemas in Overseas while in the Rest of India, Mosagallaku Mosagadu will be released by Reel Talkies.
As said above, Mosagallaku Mosagadu will be re released on May 31st, the film is being brought to the audience as the other re-releases with 4k technology. Definitely, it will be a memorable experience for this generation to watch this classic on the silver screen.
