Sumanth’s Malli Modalaindi was originally scheduled to release in theatres but due to various reasons, it is releasing directly on the ZEE5 OTT platform.
The trailer of the film looks promises a comedic entertainer, presented in the form of a social issue. It tackles the taboo around marrying a divorcee in a light-hearted manner. What happens when Sumanth falls in love with the divorce lawyer of his ex-wife forms the rest of the story.
Malli Modalaindi will stream on ZEE5 from February 11th. Sumanth’s previous two films have failed to impress Telugu audiences. He will be hoping that Malli Modalaindi will change this track record.
The film also stars Naina Ganguly, Vennela Kishore, and Suhasini Maniratnam among others. Keerthi Kumar is the writer as well as director of the film. Raja Shekar Reddy has produced the film under Red Cinemas. Anup Rubens is the music director of the film.
