Stree 2 tops the list of most searched Indian movies on Google -2024. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s horror comedy Stree 2 tops the list of most-searched Indian movies in 2024. Kalki 2898 AD, the sci-fi epic, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan grabbed the second spot.  Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail, which brought him many accolades as an actor, was at the third spot.

Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies which is also India’s official entry for Oscars 2025 is at the fourth spot. The following films in numeric order are Prasanth Varma – Teja Sajja’s Hanuman, Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja, the adventure drama from Malayalam – Manjummel Boys, Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time, Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, and Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham.  

Google has shared the list of ‘Most Searched’, their annual list that features the most searched movies, series, and people. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2, which was released this August, went on to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film so far (the trade believes Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 can have an eye on it). Bollywood audiences are delighted as Stree 2 tops the list of most searched Indian movies on Google -2024.

The Telugu film industry and fans will feel happy as two Telugu films, Kalki 2898 AD and Hanu-Man were spotted in the list. Laapataa Ladies, which received rave reviews in both theatrical and OTT releases, truly deserves the place in the top ten list as the heartful content and performance of the film were liked by everyone. Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja also caught everyone’s attention with its impeccable screenplay. The film was recently released in China and it is collecting good numbers at the box office. 

Though Vijay and Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All-Time received mixed reviews, the film was in the news for its good box office performance along with being the second last film of the star actor. Fahadh Faasil’s Aavesham and another Malayalam Film Manjummel Boys were also the talking points of the movie lovers for a few days. Prabhas’s Salaar was released last December and Kalki 2898 AD was released this June, both getting the attention of movie lovers, reviewers, and trade circles as well. Another Telugu film, Hanu-Man, scored an unexpected massive success at the box office as it collected nearly 300 cr gross at the worldwide box office. The film was released in January as a Sankranthi special and enthralled audiences with its excellent technical values and emotional impact of the Lord Hanuman.
