They recently entered the distribution business in Nizam area- a region that is traditionally dominated by Dil Raju and Asian Group. Mythri Movie Makers started the distribution office in Nizam and released Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy. Both these movies got off to a sensational start in Nizam by collecting 7Cr+ share on opening day.
On 1st day Veera Simha reddy collected 7.1Cr including GST and Waltair Veerayya collected 7.15 Cr including GST. This is a huge start for Mythri Movie Makers.
This Sankranti season has already become heated up due to Dil Raju’s decision to release a dubbed movie- Varasudu in competition with straight Telugu films made by Mythri Movie Makers. While it all is a part of business, many are calling out his hypocrisy as just 3 years Dil Raju called for a priority to be given to straight Telugu films over other language dubbed versions.
Right from getting screens from exhibitors to releasing two big films successfully for Sankranti, it has been a big struggle for Mythri in Nizam and it is finally paid off.
