Fans are waiting for a solid comeback from the star, and Sivakarthikeyan has now opened up about his upcoming films, revealing a clear shift in his approach.
Focus on Mass Commercial Entertainment
Speaking about his future projects, Sivakarthikeyan revealed his new strategy:
Hereafter, I’m going to do only mass commercial films, full entertainment. Next, I’m doing a film with Ram Kumar after Seyon, which is currently titled SK27. It’s going to be a solid mass commercial entertainer and is getting ready.
The first schedule of SK27, directed by Ram Kumar, has already begun. The team has completed the opening fight sequence and is currently filming the opening song.
Seyon Production Update
Providing a progress update on Seyon, Sivakarthikeyan shared:
Seyon is 60% complete. A few more action scenes are pending. We have already shot the songs and other scenes.
When asked about revealing more details on both projects, the actor said:
I haven’t revealed what you can expect from both films yet. Before I came here, directors Sivakumar Murugesan and Ram Kumar both asked me to tell you all about it.
Seyon, a rural action drama directed by Sivakumar Murugesan (of Thaai Kizhavi fame) and produced by Kamal Haasan‘s Raaj Kamal Films International, is one of the upcoming films of Sivakarthikeyan. The film features music by Santhosh Narayanan and co-stars Bhagyashri Borse, with production aiming for a release window around Pongal 2027.
