Siddhu’s DJ Tillu is the new victim of COVID-19. The makers of the film took to Twitter to announce the postponement of the film due to the rapidly increasing COVID-19 cases in India. Some members from the team of DJ Tillu have also tested positive for the virus causing concern. In view of these situations, the makers are holding the release of the movie.
The postponement of DJ Tillu’s release is a shame as it promised an exciting adventure in theatres. The first glimpses and teaser of the movie were promising. Siddhu has also proved himself as a bankable actor in his previous two films. This means Bangarraju will have lesser competition at the box office come 14th January.
DJ Tillu will also have a hard time finding a release date later with many biggies like RRR and Radhe Shyam also postponed due to COVID-19.
The film also stars Neha Shetty, Prince, Brahmaji, and Pragathy among others. Siddhu and Vimal Krishna have written the screenplay for the film. Vimal Krishna is the director of the movie. Sricharan Pakala is the music director of the movie. Thaman S is also involved in the project.
