Shruthi Haasan is the leading lady in both the films which have been released for this Sankranti. Maybe she felt that she got a good chance to get the limelight back again on her with appearing in Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy.
However, she would be disappointed with the response coming for her character and scenes in both the films. Reviewers and the public have given a unanimous opinion that her scenes are the minus point for Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy.
The lead pair scenes in commercial entertainers are very crucial for the to get the family audience towards the theaters, but in both movies the lead pair looked odd, and the scenes also gave a boring feeling for the crowd.
Atleast in Waltair veerayya it was okay as Sruthi Haasan’s character had some importance story wise, but in Veera Simha reddy Shruti Hassan scenes have become biggest minus for the movie. No one has enjoyed those scenes and the audience got irritated and commented that her scenes have killed the momentum of the film.
Meanwhile, during the promotions, Sruthi Haasan sounded very confident about her roles in both the films. When asked whether there will be a comparison between her characters, she said both differ greatly from each other.
“The stories, as well as my characters in both the movies, are different from each other. There is a fun touch to my role in Veera Simha Reddy. My character in Waltair Veerayya will be entirely different.” Sruthi Haasan told.
