Fan wars are not uncommon, and it has become a part of the Telugu Cinema Journey for many decades. Earlier, it used to be in a rather healthy way, but now the days have changed where the fans abusing other heroes fans and getting into altercations with them is increasing more from day to day.
In an unfortunate and extreme incident, a Prabhas fan killed a fan of Pawan Kalyan after a small disagreement which was escalated to a serious level. Two workers, Kishore and Hari Kumar from Eluru went to Attili on a house painting work. They stayed back the night after work and the argument started between them about their respective favorite stars.
It quickly turned into a fight after Kishore had his WhatsApp status about Pawan Kalyan and Hari kumar insisted on replacing it with an update of Prabhas. Kishore refused and Hari kumar who could not control his rage, struck him with a centering hose on his head and face. Kishore succumbed to his wounds and Hari Kumar escaped from the scene. In a similar incident in 2016, an NTR fan stabbed a Pawan Kalyan fan to death.
Police are investigating the incident and are searching for Hari Kumar. The ugly wars of fans about the favorite stars are unwanted and they getting to physical assaults is extremely ridiculous. We hope that such terrible incidents do not happen again.
