Shankar’s different calculations for RC15 and Indian 2

It is very well known that the director Shankar is working on two upcoming projects, RC 15 and Indian 2, which have created great buzz among industry and trade circles. Both these films are in the production stages. While Indian 2 started way before RC15, it saw several shooting hurdles, including the death of a crew member on sets and legal issues for Kamal Haasan as well as Shankar.

The shoot of Indian 2 was stopped because of the budget reasons as the producer felt such a massive budget won’t work for Kamal Hassan but after the humongous success of Vikram lot was changed, Udhayanidhi Stalin got involved in this project, and he set everything on track for the film.

Shankar then started working on two films at a time, and he is even spending more time in Indian 2 sets only for the moment. It is also being reported that Shankar is making Kamal Haasan’s film at a very modest cost, but for RC15 the budget is getting increased by each schedule.

For the songs and fights, Shankar is putting massive budgets for RC15. However, for Indian 2 he is planning everything in rational cost. Shankar recently posted his pictures at the iconic charminar in Hyderabad for the next schedule of RC15.

RC15 stars Kiara Advani, SJ Surya, Anjali, Srikanth, Jayaram and others. Indian 2 on the other hand features Kajal Agarwal opposite Kamal Haasan. Both films are big-budget entertainers with great commercial elements and social messages.
