Multistarrer pan-India projects seem to be the flavour of the season. After the humongous success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR which starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan, other filmmakers are too catching up on the trend. Just a few days ago it was confirmed that Siddharth Anand will be directing a project with Prabhas and Hrithik Roshan which will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Now, ace director Shankar has also indicated his plans of doing one of these multistarrers.
Shankar is planning a huge budget film after RC15 and the budget is said to be a whopping Rs 1000Cr. The film needs two stars and Shankar has already thought of many combinations none of which satisfied him. Now, he is in plans to do this film with Shahrukh Khan and Vijay. If this indeed works out, it will be one of the biggest casting wonders and a massive treat to film lovers all over.
This project though might take some time to go on floors. Shankar is busy with RC 15 at the moment and also has Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 in his hands. Both these projects are grand-scale ones and need extensive care and focus.
