With Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, Shahrukh Khan became the top star of the year with his movies collecting a jaw-dropping Rs 2500Cr+ collection in 2023. The Bollywood King had 3 releases and started the year with Pathaan and ended it with Dunki. Both Pathaan and Jawan emerged as the biggest grossers for Hindi and 1000Cr+ films.
After Shahrukh Khan, the second highest-grossing hero of 2023 was Prabhas. With Adipurush, he scored around Rs 370Cr gross worldwide and Salaar has already crossed the 500Cr mark and will do much more. Prabhas’ overall contribution to the box office was a solid Rs 900Cr.
Thalapathy Vijay started the year with Varisu which grossed around Rs 290Cr+ collections and with Leo he scored a massive success and Rs 595Cr gross collections. Vijay has contributed close to 900Cr collection this year. These 3 stars contributed more than 4300Cr+ collections this year.
