She has made some serious comments about the casting couch in the cinema industry in her recent interview. Amani said that she wanted to be an actress and continued her efforts to fulfill her dreams without giving up. Through her hard work, she got a chance as an actress and became a wonderful actress with her amazing acting skills.
Recently she shared her bitter experiences in the early days of her career. Amani too faced many difficult situations to enter the industry as many actresses did . She used to go to companies for auditions, and she managed to get selected in some companies and a few associations would reject her.
Out of those, few individuals from those offices told her to wait for some time and then call her.Amani said that she did not understand what they meant. However, after a few days, she came to know the actual intentions of those people.
According to Amani, she received calls from the production unit, and they inform that the director wanted to meet her. If she had asked what is the reason, they cited a make-up test as a reason. When Amani said ok, and she will arrive with her mom, they would refuse and insist her to show up alone. After that, she and her mom said that she will not turn alone and they will appear together.
Because of this uncompromising attitude, Amani lost many chances as the directors rejected her straight away when she informed them she will show up with her mom. That’s why it took two years for her to carry out an entry on the silver screen.
Casting Couch is not a new thing in the film industry, as many actresses in the past have faced it and even today also this problem continues to affect their careers. While some compromise for career, a few heroines don’t give in and never hesitate to give it back to these Ill activities.
