Sandeep Reddy Vanga: A Stubborn Mind in a Fantasy World

The blockbuster success of Animal has brought great joy to the entire team and has been a great culmination of years of hard work that Sandeep Reddy Vanga has put into this project. Despite the massive success, it appears that the director is not enjoying the victory and is still bent on tackling any criticism the film gets.

Don’t know why Sandeep Vanga is so obsessed with bad reviews. When you make a film it will be liked by some and not so by others. His feeling that Animal is a perfect film is now leading to several unnecessary controversies.

In reality, Animal was a routine drama with great music and good direction. Since the film was controversial, it grabbed a lot of eyeballs which worked in its favour. Despite the blockbuster success of the film, he is in no mood to accept any criticism. Whenever something negative comes up about the film, Sandeep Vanga is quick to lash out and say others did not understand the film. His recent spat with veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar is another example of the same.

The director has countered Javed Akhtar’s statements by saying the latter did not understand the movie. Now he is facing backlash on social media and the people are not at all tolerating this behaviour. Many are even suggesting that this is not alpha male behaviour (which the director spoke about in the movie). Netizens believe these statements are coming across as quite immature.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga may feels he has made the greatest film ever in Indian cinema, but it is far from true. Yes, it has a lot of good and bad things, and people have every right to talk about it.
