The Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha starrer Kushi released today, and the audience’s talk and reviews came quite in favor of the film. Both the lead stars and director Shiva Nirvana had put hopes on this romantic drama to pull them out of their slump. However, Samantha is facing criticism for her looks and appearance.
Normally, Samantha has an image of big star and a superb actress who delivers excellent performances, and she is also known for dominating others with presence and performance but in her last film, Shaakuntalam she got criticized for her performance and screen presence badly.
Now for Kushi also the people are criticizing Samantha and many felt that Samantha did not look apt for the character, and she looked much elder than Vijay Deverakonda on screen. That is the main reason for the love track not working as big as it should have been. Many people after watching the film stated an opinion that the pair looked very odd on screen.
Malayalam music director Hesham Abdul Wahab has scored the music for the film. Kushi also has Murali Sharma, Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Pradeep, and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles. Kushi is a pan-India release with it hitting the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
