Salman Khan is officially teaming up with Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally, marking his first-ever project with a Telugu filmmaker. The official announcement came today, ending months of speculation.

Six of these seven films were produced by Dil Raju — a director-producer partnership that spans over a decade. Dil Raju steps in as producer here too, this time alongside Bollywood’s biggest star.

For Salman Khan, this is genuinely new territory. It is his first collaboration with a Telugu director, and the combination of Vamshi Paidipally‘s pan-India credibility and Dil Raju‘s production experience makes this an unusually strong lineup. After the rough run of Sikandar, this project with a proven hitmaker is a significant reset for the actor.
