In areas like Guntur and Krishna, the movie was sold to KSN Telefilms, who are not regular distributors, so the hires and early shows have been greatly impacted. In the West, Salaar is being released by Geetha, but it is on an advanced basis, so they did not put much interest in closing the deals, which resulted in poor hires for the film.
If the movie was sold to popular distributors on an NRA or MG basis, then the film might have seen substantial record openings.
