Salaar team simultaneously working on reshoots and post-production

It is widely known that the upcoming Pan Indian actioner, Salaar, starring Prabhas in the lead role has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in the past few days. The film was surrounded by massive expectations in the fans and trade as well, but the postponement of the film from the announced date has appeared to be a severe disappointment for everyone. Now it is being reported that the team of Salaar is simultaneously working on reshoots and post-production to meet the deadline.

Normally as per plan, Salaar film should have been released in this week, but there was a delay in post-production and Prashant Neel also felt that the CG work was not impressive, and he wanted to reshoot a few scenes with some changes. The shoot is currently happening, and simultaneously the post-production works are happening as well. Prashant Neel is one such a director who does not want to release the film until he is 100% satisfied with the output.

Recently, it was also reported that the makers from many days wanted to include an item song in the film with a top senior actress, but due to Prabhas’s knee injury, he was not ready for the song all these days. But now Prabhas’s knee injury treatment has done and he is taking the rest. If he recovers fast then the team is in plans to make a special song with a star heroine like Trisha or Aishwarya Rai.

Salaar is directed by KGF Series maker Prashanth Neel film. The film stars Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in key roles. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film.
