The most anticipated Indian movie is finally inching close to release after long and arduous delays. The movie was originally scheduled to release on January 7th, 2022 and the makers had planned perfect promotional strategies for the same.
From promoting the film on various Youtube channels, various grand events with special guests like Salman Khan, Tovino Thomas, Siva Karthikeyan, and Ranbir Kapoor, no stone was left unturned.
But their plans were washed down due to the sudden rise in COVID-19 cases in the country. The makers deemed it best to postpone the film to a more convenient date.
With the announcement of a March 25th release, the makers will likely start promotions again in the middle of March. But in the meanwhile, the RRR pre-release event date and venue details have been revealed.
The RRR pre-release event will take place on March 19th at the Chikkaballapur High School ground in Karnataka. It is unknown as to why a region in AP/TS was not chosen.
RRR also stars Ram Charan, JR.NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in lead roles. SS Rajamouli is the director of the film and DVV Danayya is the producer of the movie. MM Keeravani is the music director of the film. The vibes have been positive for the film, with record-breaking pre-sales also.
