Record Breaking 1st Week Collections for Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha

Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha has turned out to be a true blockbuster at the box office. After an excellent 1st weekend, the film had a super stronghold in the weekdays and collected around 31 Crores share worldwide in its first week. The Telugu states share is close to 25 Crores and the rest of areas share will be more than 6 Crores.

These first week collections are record-breaking and career highest numbers for Sai Dharam Tej by a big margin, and it is the 2nd movie which has crossed 30 Crores share in his career, after Prati Roju Pandage [33 Crores] and by looking at the current trend, it looks Virupaksha will easily cross 40 Crores share in its full run.

Produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, Virupaksha makers had planned to release the film in multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, but they changed the decision at the last minute and decided to release the film in other languages after a week or so seeing the response in Telugu. As it became a blockbuster in Telugu, now the Hindi version will be released on 5th May.

With music by B Ajaneesh Loknath, the cinematography of the film is handled by Shamdat Sainudeen. The film stars Sai Dharam Tej, Samyuktha Menon in the lead roles, while Rajeev Kanakala, Brahmaji, Ajay and Sunil in the other crucial roles. Written by Sukumar, the film is based on unsolved mystical elements occurring in a village named Rudravanam.
