Ravi Teja’s Dhamaka was released amidst positive buzz and though it received mixed reviews, the mass audience gave a good word of mouth to the film. The film brings the Mass Maharaja and Trinadha Rao Nakkina together for the first time.
On opening day Dhamaka has collected 4.6 Crores share in Telugu states and on the second day the film holds 80%—85% Collections of opening day and collected 3.5 Crores share on day2.
Overall, the film has collected 8.1 Crores share in Telugu states and worldwide share will be around 9 Crores. Dhamaka’s Theatrical rights are valued at 19 Crores and the film is heading towards hit status.
Apart from Ravi Teja’s energetic performance and some massy moments in the film, young and vibrant Sreeleela ‘s glamour and dances, Bheems Ceciroleo’s foot-tapping music have also acted to the movie’s advantage.
They jointly produced the film under the banner of People Media Factory and Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. The High-budget film was funded by TG Vishwa Prasad and co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla.
