The team is picking big stars to act in the film. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi will appear as Sita. Kannada Star Hero Yash will reportedly play Ravana’s character. The latest exciting reports suggest that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is said to be in talks to play the character of Vibheeshana and a few other stars are said to be in talks for crucial roles. The film is in the final stages of pre-production, and will go on to sets in March. The film will be made as three-part series.
The rumored cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, with Bobby Deol allegedly declining the role of Kumbhakaran. The film, produced by Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra, is reportedly aiming for a Diwali 2025 release, and pre-production is said to be underway, although no official announcement has been made regarding the project and its lead cast.
