The recent talk of the town in film circles is the entry of Prabhas’ Project K at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). It is the first Indian film to debut at the prestigious San Diego Comic-Con festival. It is a very prestigious moment for us Indians and this is all thanks to the vision of director Nag Aswin and the faith put in him by the producers, Vyjayanthi Movies.
Vyjayanthi Movies took to Twitter to announce this good news via a poster. A glimpse of Project K, including the teaser, trailer, and release date of the film will all be announced at the San Diego Comic-Con.
All of this is great, but who is really responsible for taking Prabhas’ Project K to the global stage? It is none other than the man himself, Rana Daggubati. Once again, he has come through and delivered on the big stage for Indian cinema.
First, with Baahubali as well, Rana was largely responsible for taking it to the masses across India. And now, in a selfless act, Rana has once again taken Project K to the global stage. Rana is the one responsible for Project K’s debut at the San Diego Comic-Con.
The festival is going to be held from 20th July to 23rd July, where Prabhas, Nag Aswin, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan will be present. These are very exciting times ahead for Project K. It also looks like it is a great time to be a fan of Indian cinema right now.
