The mass action entertainer Skanda, made by Boyapati Sreenu starring Ram Pothineni, was released on September 28th and received mixed reactions from the audience. Skanda, which was a mass film, had received some better numbers over the weekend, but it saw a significant decrease in its collections as soon as the holidays were over. Overall, the film has fared as a below average one in its first week at the worldwide box office.

All the above-mentioned collections are including GST in all areas except Ceeded in Telugu States. For Breakeven, the film has to collect 50Cr and the recovery for the 1st week is 54% which can be said as below par – poor numbers. The movie needs a big jump on the 2nd weekend to at least recover 70% of the business.
