India Adds Over ₹3 Cr in a Day
In India, the film has sold over 6.29 lakh tickets across 17,016 shows, for a gross of ₹27.30 Cr.
That’s a jump of about ₹3.2 Cr from yesterday’s ₹24.09 Cr, with more than 1 lakh new tickets sold in a day and over 2,400 shows added.
Karnataka Takes the Top Spot
There’s a change at the top. Karnataka has now overtaken Maharashtra to become the film’s biggest market in India, with ₹5.19 Cr from nearly 99,000 tickets. Maharashtra follows closely with ₹5.04 Cr.
Top States for Ramayana Pre-Sales (India)
- Karnataka: ₹5.19 Cr
- Maharashtra: ₹5.04 Cr
- Uttar Pradesh: ₹2.24 Cr
- Gujarat: ₹2.02 Cr
- Telangana: ₹1.97 Cr
- Delhi: ₹1.92 Cr
Telangana Sells Big Despite Low Prices
Telangana continues to impress. The state has sold over 77,000 tickets, the third-highest in the country after Karnataka and Maharashtra, even with an average ticket price of just ₹255. Its occupancy of 26.2% is among the highest of the major markets.
Andhra Pradesh remains the cheapest state for Ramayana tickets, with an average price of ₹179.
North America Leads Overseas
North America is driving the overseas numbers with $1.8 million, three times the rest of the world combined.
The 100 Cr Question
The big question now is whether Ramayana can hit ₹100 Cr in pre-sales before its shows begin. Only one Bollywood film, Dhurandhar 2, has achieved that.
With ₹50 Cr in hand and three days left, Ramayana is halfway there.
Premieres Could Be the Game Changer
The biggest factor is still the premieres. The team hasn’t announced premiere shows in India yet. If premieres are added on November 4, a day before the November 5 release, the film could easily reach the ₹100 Cr mark.
Without them, getting there will depend on a big final push in bookings over the next two days.
