Ram Gopal Varma’s senseless defense on Pushpa 2 price shocks everyone. A day before the release of Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule, director Ram Gopal Varma posted a tweet on his official X account which sounded like a silly opinion a big issue.

Recently, Ramu posted about Allu Arjun being the biggest star of Indian cinema and today he tried to defend the heavy ticket hikes of Pushpa 2 with a weird comparison. He tried to compare the ticket prices of Pushpa 2’s premiers with a price of Idly in star hotels and roadside stalls. He said that people cannot complain about the massive ticket prices for the film, and they can choose not to watch the film if they cannot afford it. Ram Gopal Varma’s Senseless Defense on Pushpa 2 Price shocks everyone.

However, Ram Gopal Varma should understand that those who are hungry can eat Idly from premium hotels to roadside stalls as per their budget. But fans who have been waiting for 3 years to watch the first show of Pushpa 2 are forced to pay premium prices for any screen. Ticket prices should vary on a theatre and class basis. Those who can’t afford recliners priced at ₹1000 should have the opportunity to watch them at a lower price in regular theatres. But here, every movie lover is forced to watch Pushpa 2 at exorbitant prices. It is funny that a senior director and industry person like RGV fails to understand this.
