Upasana Konidela, the wife of Ram Charan, is always known for her progressive tweets on various topics. She is a healthcare entrepreneur and a social activist, who actively works to improve people’s lives. Her tweets are usually unanimously loved by her followers but, her recent tweet has not gone down well.
Upasana tweeted a morphed picture of Suchindram Temple, Kanyakumari on the occasion of Republic Day. The picture featured various men and women standing beside the various gods and goddesses, wearing footwear.
While some people took up the challenge and ignored the footwear on the people, many were visibly upset over this. “Out of the box thinking, but many are wearing shoes, this is not nice” a user added.
Some people requested the removal of the tweet as it hurt their religious sentiments. “This is propaganda in the name of art.” people further added.
“This is sheer nonsense” a user exclaimed.
