Ram Charan’s Game Changer was announced quite a while ago, almost 2 to 3 years ago. The film’s shoot started in the second half of 2021, when no other star actor was shooting for any film. But despite the early start, Game Changer has played the game way too slowly.
It has been over 2 years since the start of the shoot but Game Changer is still very much in the shooting phase, with quite a few portions left to complete. This is because of Shankar’s busy schedule, shooting for Indian 2 and Game Changer simultaneously.
Now, many other star actors who started late are finishing quite early. Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram started very recently and yet is being released for Sankranthi 2024. NTR’s Devara which also started relatively recently is planning for a 2024 Summer release. The same with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 as well.
Coming to Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas, they are playing a different game altogether. They have multiple films lined up, one after the other. But Ram Charan, on the other hand, is still stuck with Shankar’s Game Changer. The film will mostly hit the screens during Dasara 2024 or if things get delayed further, it might even go as far as Sankranthi 2025.
