On one hand, people were blaming Chiranjeevi for meddling with the script and changing the storyline to his advantage. On the other hand, fans of Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi blamed Koratala Siva for making such a forgettable film.
But while Koratala Siva has been head over heels trying to compensate for the losses incurred, it seems as if Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are staying out of it. According to Koratala Siva’s closest circles, both Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi have not even returned a single penny of their remunerations back.
Due to the star power of the two actors, Koratala settled their remunerations before the movie was released. It is also a known fact that Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan charge hefty numbers due to their star status.
All in all, Acharya is a huge setback for Koratala as it is not only a flop but has also stained his ‘Hit’ image. Moreover, many distributors and exhibitors are still waiting for their compensation without which they will not work with the director. He needs to take care of these losses before his next with JR.NTR.
