Aishwarya Rajinikanth is returning to direction after almost half a decade. On May 8, the filmmaker and Lyca Productions revealed the character poster of Superstar Rajinikanth in her upcoming directorial venture, Lal Salaam. As reported earlier, he will play a cameo role in the film and his character’s name is Moideen Bhai. The shooting of the film is currently underway.
The fans of Superstar Rajinikanth were very eager to see him in a new look in Lal Salaam, but they have not at all liked the first look as it was a very disappointing one. As we look at the first look it does not look like a big star’s first look, rather than it appears like some unknown or b grade movie’s look. The netizens are saying that how come the team was in so hurry to release this and commenting that they should have taken some care about it. Rajnikanth is very much known for his screen presence, but this look of Moideen Bhai has come as a shock to Rajini fans and audience.
Lyca Productions took to their social media accounts and shared the poster in English and Tamil, calling Rajinikanth ‘everyone’s favourite Bhai.’
The film features Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles, with an extended cameo from Rajinikanth. The film, produced by Lyca Productions, will have music scored by AR Rahman. Cinematographer Vishnu Rangasamy and editor Pravin Baaskar are part of the technical team.
