Rajinikanth’s latest film, Jailer, has achieved a box office success that was unparalleled. The success of this film was unimaginable to anyone. After crossing a massive 600 Crores Gross worldwide, the film is now ready for OTT streaming from tonight 12 AM. Jailer’s OTT rights were bagged by the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video for a record price as per the reports.
Rajinikanth, the revered icon of the South Indian film industry, has a fan base that worships him as a God. The superstar, after a one and a half-year gap, returned to the silver screen with the film Jailer, which not only became a massive success, but it also made him receive a record remuneration of 200 Cr as per the reports. Generally, the films which have more emphasis on Hero elevation scenes do not gather much response upon their digital release.
Now let’s wait and watch how it will be the response for Jailer on OTT. As said above, the film will be available for OTT streaming on Amazon Prime Video from tonight. Made as an action entertainer, Jailer, the film tells us the story of a retired Jailer who hunts down on a big criminal gang who kidnapped and supposedly killed his son, who is a police officer. He takes the help of his old friends and contacts in this process.
Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, stars Rajinikanth as retired police officer Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Apart from Rajinikanth, Jailer also features Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, and Tamannaah Bhatia in pivotal roles. Veteran stars Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, and Jackie Shroff also appear in the film, which has been produced by Sun Pictures. Jailer’s music has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
